The Mini Bird Race is a "fun race" where teams of two compete against each other in searching, identifying and recording as many species of birds around the areas of Penrissen Range within an allocated time. According to recent observation, there is a list of 143 birds which have been sighted in the area.

Borneo International Yatching Challenge |

The Borneo International Yachting Challenge is the first international yachting event in the waters of Borneo. It is a joint effort of two Malaysian Borneo states, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan. Since 2003, an average of 20 boats from all over the world have participated from as far as St Vincent.

River Safari in Padawan is a bamboo rafting competition organised by the Padawan municipal council at the Sungai Sarawak Kin as one of the tourism events for the area. The journey down the river, which will take more than three and a half hours, passes some amazing picturesque scenes and rapids, which are the natural obstacles of the safari.
